You are likely aware of our latest endeavor in the Wood River Valley, where we are pursuing our dream of building our very own camp. We have reached a critical step in working towards this dream, perhaps the most critical step thus far. On October 6, 2016, we submitted our application to obtain a Conditional Use Permit from Blaine County. On Thursday, February 9 at 6:30 pm, we will go before Blaine County Planning and Zoning for a public hearing, the next step in obtaining this permit. The hearing includes a presentation by our project team as well as time to hear comments from the public.
There are a number of ways to show your support for Camp Rainbow Gold during this time. You can…
- Attend the meeting as a member of the audience. Camp Rainbow Gold clothing is encouraged!
- Attend the meeting and sign up to speak during the public comment period. When you enter the building, you will sign in and have the option to sign up to speak. If you chose to speak, you will be called upon at some point during the evening.
- If you are unable to attend, you can submit a letter of support to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are traveling to the Wood River Valley and need a place to stay, Camp Rainbow Gold has reserved a room block for supporters. A discounted room rate is available for reservations placed prior to February 2. Please call AmericInn in Hailey at 208.788.7950 and request a room under the block “Camp Rainbow Gold supporters”.
The outpouring of support continues to amaze us. We cannot thank you enough for supporting and shining with us. Each one of you are truly the foundation of this organization and we are forever grateful. Please do not hesitate to contact our office (208.350.6435) with any questions you have.
